These maps are at a scale of 1 inch = 400ft and the information should not be viewed at a scale any larger. Each map was digitized individually; once the entire county was entered the sections were edge match to adjacent sections. Edge matching was accomplished by interpretation of the aerial photos that accompanied the maps and by checking the National Wetlands Inventory maps. Where a problem could not be solved by these methods the feature was matched to the NWI. The coding of the features are done with codes used on the maps created from the EWU study.
